About the position

The Breakfast Host position at Petersen Hotels involves providing excellent customer service during breakfast hours, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests. The role includes preparing and maintaining the breakfast buffet, interacting with guests, and upholding cleanliness standards in the dining area.

Responsibilities

• Preparing for, setting up, and disassembling the buffet
• Ensuring that the buffet remains stocked with sufficient amounts of food throughout service
• Interacting with guests, responding to any questions or complaints, and clearing their eating area upon their departure
• Ensuring that customers' needs are met in a timely manner so that they can leave the dining area by the end of the meal service
• Maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the lobby during the meal service, including sanitizing surfaces and sweeping floors
• Cleaning the entire area and kitchen and preparing for the next day
• Ordering items weekly to maintain stock in the kitchen
• Completing food safety online courses

Requirements
