About The Position

The Hotel Front Desk Agent / Night Audit position at Embassy Suites by Hilton Paradise Valley is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service to guests during their stay. The agent will be responsible for managing reservations, conducting night audits, and ensuring a pleasant experience for guests by addressing their needs and concerns. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle various front desk operations efficiently.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in hotel night audit or similar role.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Experience with hotel reservations software, preferably OnQ.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system.
• Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs.
• Code electronic keys, certificates, and coupons as appropriate.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods.
• Handle cash; make change and balance assigned house bank.
• Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using the computer.
• Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear English communication.
• Field guest complaints and conduct thorough research to develop effective solutions.
• Remain calm and alert especially during emergencies and heavy hotel activity.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security rules.
