About the position

The Front Desk Agent at SpringHill Suites is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for guests. This role involves managing reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, and promoting hotel services. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Answer phones and assist with reservations.
  • Look up directions on the internet for guests.
  • Promote the hotel's rewards program.
  • Create good customer relations and assist with sales.
  • Problem-solve guest issues effectively.
  • Fill in for other shifts as needed.

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Opera PMS (preferred but not required).
  • Prior experience with IHG, Hyatt, Choice, Hilton, or Marriott hotels (preferred but not required).
  • Bilingual skills.
