About the position

Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming guests, managing their account information, and ensuring they have everything they need for an exceptional stay. In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming, registering, checking in, and checking out guests staying at the hotel. You will provide keys and room numbers, record credit card information, and manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls. Additionally, you will answer inquiries about guests' needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs. You will also be tasked with fielding customer complaints when necessary and working closely with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests. Accurate bookkeeping is essential, as you will need to keep precise records of all hotel guest account information. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations.
  • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills.
  • High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent.
  • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
  • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred.
