About the position

The Hotel Front Office Clerk is responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, maintaining awareness of hotel occupancy, and providing excellent customer service at the front desk. This role involves answering phone calls, assisting guests with their luggage, and ensuring confidentiality of guest information.

Responsibilities

  • Register all guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring proper credit and pertinent information is obtained.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard guest data.
  • Prepare daily cash reports, balancing payments and disbursements.
  • Assist with periodic inventories.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
