About the position

The Hotel General Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire hotel operations, ensuring a high level of guest service and satisfaction while managing financial performance. This role requires extensive experience in full-service hotels, particularly with Marriott, and proficiency in Fosse software. The General Manager will lead and motivate staff, manage front office operations, and ensure that all capital projects are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures employees are trained in Fosse
  • Leads and manages the entire hotel
  • Motivates and leads all employees
  • Ensures smooth, efficient and professional operation of all front office operations and Rooms Division
  • Ensures all capital projects are completed on time and under budget
  • Responsible for property guest service score and financials
  • Owns any guest requests and problems and satisfies their needs within acceptable guidelines
  • Leads by example: Provides gracious and aggressive hospitality towards all customers

Requirements

  • Must have Full Service Hotel experience
  • Experienced GM or AGM
  • Must know Fosse and have Marriott Experience
  • Must have Food Background
  • 2 Years As AGM or GM of Marriott Branded property
  • Food and Beverage Experience as well
