About the position

The Hotel General Manager for the Travel Task Force is responsible for overseeing the operations of a full-service hotel, ensuring high standards of guest service and financial performance. This role requires extensive experience in hotel management, particularly with Marriott properties, and a strong background in food and beverage operations. The position involves significant travel, approximately 8 to 12 weeks per year, to various hotel locations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures employees are trained in Fosse.
  • Leads and manages the entire hotel.
  • Motivates and leads all employees.
  • Ensures smooth, efficient, and professional operation of all front office operations and Rooms Division.
  • Ensures all capital projects are completed on time and under budget.
  • Responsible for property guest service score and financials.
  • Owns any guest requests and problems and satisfies their needs within acceptable guidelines.
  • Leads by example, providing gracious and aggressive hospitality towards all customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of hotel experience as AGM or GM, preferably in a Marriott branded property.
  • Full-service hotel experience.
  • Food and beverage background.
  • Proficiency in Fosse.

Benefits

  • Annual salary of $110,000 - $115,000.
