About the position

The Hotel General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring that brand standards are met and guest expectations are exceeded. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and develop a customer service-oriented team, while also managing revenue, sales, and marketing strategies to drive the hotel's success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the hotel operations.
  • Ensure brand standards are met to exceed guest expectations.
  • Inspire associates and create a culture of care and accountability.
  • Develop and build teams by encouraging mutual trust and respect.
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and execute the hotel's sales and marketing plan and operating budget.
  • Manage labor costs and expenses according to business demand levels.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of upper management experience in hotel operations.
  • 3+ years of hotel management experience.
  • Previous hotel revenue management experience.
  • Sales experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Strong customer relations skills.
  • Experience in handling HR issues, scheduling, and employee training.
