Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Lead and develop a dedicated team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, and expense control.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies to increase occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
  • Ensure excellent guest experiences, promptly addressing feedback and maintaining high guest satisfaction scores.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and local laws.
  • Handle property maintenance and cleanliness standards to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience as a General Manager or in hotel operations management, preferably in a select-service environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with a proven ability to manage budgets and drive profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise with property management systems (PMS).
  • Expertise with room inventory management.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of Charleston's market and hospitality trends.
