Responsibilities

• Formulate overall strategy and establish policies for the hotel.
• Manage day-to-day operations with a focus on sales and financial management.
• Deliver results that contribute to the hotel's mission and success by achieving performance objectives.
• Maintain a quality product and ensure exceptional guest and employee relations.
• Maximize room revenues by anticipating market shifts and developing strategic marketing plans.
• Oversee security functions to ensure a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Maintain a proactive human resources function, effectively selecting and developing staff.
• Experience in budgetary forecasting and cost control, making recommendations for capital improvements.

Requirements

• Experience as a General Manager at a similar hotel or equivalent management experience.
• Proven track record of meeting timelines and budgets, with an understanding of P&L statements and cost control.
• Yield management experience is preferred, along with a sales background.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and PC skills (Windows-based software).
• Proven track record of service and financial success.
