The position involves thorough cleaning of hotel rooms and bathrooms according to established department procedures. The role requires sorting, counting, folding, and carrying linens for making guest beds, as well as stocking housekeeping carts with necessary supplies. Additionally, the employee will replenish supplies in hotel rooms and bathrooms as per hotel procedures, dust furniture, wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, and sills, and empty wastebaskets while transporting trash to the waste disposal area. It is essential to report any problems immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Guest Relations Manager and ensure that any lost and found items are logged appropriately. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is crucial, and the employee will occasionally interact with guests while cleaning their rooms, promoting outstanding customer relations. The role may also include performing other duties as assigned.
