About the position
The Hotel Housekeeper position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. This role is crucial for ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for guests, contributing to their overall experience during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Dust and wipe surfaces, including countertops, windows, and furniture
- Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as required
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and polishers
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Attention to detail in cleaning and sanitizing tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
