About the position

As a Housekeeper at WoodSpring Suites, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay. Your primary responsibility will be to clean and service assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner, adhering to the hotel's established procedures and standards. This position requires a keen attention to detail, as you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the guest rooms, which directly impacts guest satisfaction. You will also be expected to keep an organized linen cart that is neat, well-stocked, and clean, ensuring that you have all necessary supplies at hand to perform your duties effectively. In addition to cleaning, you will be responsible for reporting any areas within guest rooms that require attention, such as fixtures, door locks, televisions, and HVAC systems. Maintaining the security of your equipment, keys, and supplies is essential, as is reporting any lost and found articles to your supervisor. You will also need to respond to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience. Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner, following procedures and hotel standards.
  • Keeping an organized linen cart that is neat, well stocked and clean.
  • Reporting any areas within guest rooms that need attention, such as fixtures, door locks, televisions, HVAC, etc.
  • Maintaining security of your equipment, key and supplies issued to you.
  • Reporting lost and found articles to your supervisor.
  • Responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Ability to clean and service guest rooms efficiently and effectively.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain a neat and stocked linen cart.
  • Ability to report maintenance issues and lost items accurately.
  • Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with hotel standards and procedures.
