About The Position
The Hotel Housekeeping Room Attendant position at 306 Canon Avenue, Manitou Springs, CO, is a vital role within our hospitality team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas. This position is available for both part-time and full-time employment, with a pay rate starting from $15 an hour. The ideal candidate must have availability for evening and weekend shifts, as these are essential to meet the needs of our guests. As a Room Attendant, you will be tasked with a variety of essential duties that contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests. Your responsibilities will include loading your cart with all necessary supplies, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, vacuuming rooms, and ensuring that all areas are tidy and welcoming. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be expected to clean thoroughly, including disinfecting surfaces and ensuring that no soap residue is left in the showers. You will also be responsible for cleaning refrigerators and window sills, as well as performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor. In addition to your cleaning duties, you will be expected to comply with all safety and security policies to ensure a safe working environment. The physical demands of this role include standing, bending, squatting, and kneeling for extended periods, as well as lifting supplies and equipment. You will be working primarily indoors, often alone, but also closely with other team members. The use of various cleaning chemicals and supplies is a regular part of the job, and adherence to safety protocols is essential.
