About the position

The Hotel Housekeeping position at First Gold Inc - NCRC involves ensuring the comfort and safety of hotel guests by maintaining cleanliness and organization in guest rooms and common areas. The role requires adherence to hotel standards and involves various cleaning tasks, reporting maintenance issues, and restocking supplies.

Responsibilities

• Strip used beds and remake using clean linens.
• Transport soiled linens to the respective laundry chute.
• Empty trash containers, clean ashtrays, dust furniture, clean mirrors and windows.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms using appropriate cleaning supplies and methods.
• Replenish all guest room and bathroom supplies.
• Inspect and clean PTAC filters and replace as needed.
• Vacuum guest room and hallway carpets.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly job duties as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor.
• Report all maintenance, safety, and security issues to the housekeeping and/or appropriate department supervisor.
• Record all lost and found items left by guests after departure and deliver them to the Terrace laundry room for storage.
• Complete necessary paperwork for filing with the housekeeping department.
• Restock the housekeeping cart at the end of each shift.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the housekeeping department supervisor.
• Comply with all company safety standards and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to accept responsibility and work independently.
• Ability to read and understand labels on chemical cleaning products.

Benefits

• Quarterly bonus of $1.00 per room cleaned, subject to provisions.
• Attendance bonus for no unexcused absences in each month.
