Requirements

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field (mechanical, electrical, HVAC) preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in hotel maintenance or general building or property maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent hands-on skills and proficiency in using various maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and guests.
  • Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve problems effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to ensure smooth operation and avoid disruptions.
  • Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, diagnosing problems, and performing repairs efficiently and effectively.
  • Install and maintain hotel fixtures, furniture, and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Conduct safety inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
