About the position

As a Maintenance Technician at South Mountain Resort, you will play a crucial role in the Engineering department, which is dedicated to maintaining both the aesthetic and mechanical aspects of the resort property. Your primary responsibilities will include completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and addressing daily projects as reported by engineering management or the front desk. Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders as assigned by engineering management or front desk.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on resort facilities.
  • Address daily maintenance projects reported during shifts.
  • Maintain the cosmetic appearance and mechanical function of the resort property.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high maintenance standards are met.

Requirements

  • Basic maintenance experience in painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general maintenance preferred.
  • 6 months of customer service and/or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Valid and clean driver's license record.
  • Possess a team player attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Facilities, Property, or Building Maintenance preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in installations, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards.
