The Hotel Marketing Coordinator at Four Points by Sheraton French Quarter is a creative and detail-oriented role responsible for managing and creating engaging content across various platforms. This position focuses on promoting the hotel's offerings in alignment with Marriott brand standards, supporting internal communications, and collaborating with hotel management teams to execute effective marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain website content, images, and promotional materials.
  • Create engaging social media content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Develop pre-arrival email messaging to enhance the guest experience.
  • Regularly monitor the hotel's digital presence and engage with followers.
  • Design promotional flyers, graphics, email campaigns, and special offer materials.
  • Coordinate with various hotel departments to create targeted marketing strategies.
  • Ensure all content adheres to Marriott's brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with hotel leadership to plan and execute promotional events.
  • Assist in the development of targeted marketing campaigns for hotel events.
  • Collaborate with Marriott's brand representatives to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Track marketing production to ensure adherence to Marriott's standards.
  • Support the creation of internal communications for associates.
  • Assist with new associate onboarding and organize associate events.
  • Oversee the performance and maintenance of digital marketing services.
  • Monitor the success of marketing initiatives using performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content creation tools.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and CMS tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
