About the position

The Night Auditor at Hotel Indigo West Chester is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during the night shift, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the security of the hotel. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in representing the hotel and adhering to Onix Hospitality's standards of service and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests at the front desk with the highest level of service possible.
• Determine a guest's reservation status and length of stay.
• Assist guests in completing registration cards and assign rooms based on requests.
• Verify guest payment methods and follow credit-checking procedures.
• Maintain guest room key storage and supervise access to safe deposit boxes.
• Work closely with housekeeping to keep room status reports updated.
• Present options and alternatives to guests and assist in making choices.
• Perform Night Audit shift checklist for all PMS related job responsibilities.
• Ensure security of the building according to property procedures.
• Walk the building to ensure safety and security of guests.
• Check in and check out all guests according to property standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front desk and back-office area.

Requirements

• Any combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
• Grade school education is preferred.
• Food safety certification as required by state and local regulations and brand standards.
• Previous hotel-related experience is desired.
