About the position

The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift (11 PM - 7 AM). This position combines front desk responsibilities with accounting tasks, providing exceptional guest services while maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong customer service skills, and have a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Perform night audit procedures to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
• Process payments and manage cash handling procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Prepare reports detailing occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics for management review.

Requirements

• Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proficient in using phone systems and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
• Excellent guest relations abilities to foster a positive atmosphere for all visitors.
• Experience in front desk operations within a hospitality environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of night audit procedures is a plus, particularly in resort settings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of service.
