About the position

The Hotel Night Auditor at McKibbon Hospitality serves as the primary point of contact for guests during overnight hours, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role involves managing guest check-ins, addressing complaints, and maintaining knowledge of hotel services and operations. Responsibilities

  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to inquiries.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, and operations.
  • Process guest check-ins and verify registration information.
  • Handle overbooked or 'walked' guests effectively.
  • Accept and record wake-up call requests from guests.
  • Communicate pertinent guest information to relevant departments.
  • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with housekeeping.
  • Train in Food and Beverage operations to assist as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a front desk agent or in a similar role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
  • Experience in a hotel establishment is highly desired.
  • Flexible schedule to work 11pm to 7am shifts.
  • Proficiency with computers and basic math skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to input and access information in property management and points-of-sale systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
