About The Position
Horseshoe Bay Resort is in search of a Pool Maintenance Supervisor to maintain our beautiful pools around the property. The Pool Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the operations of the entire swimming pool complex and the overall safety of those who use the facility. This role involves coordinating facility programming, maintaining, and ordering supplies to ensure the pools are in optimal condition for guests. The supervisor will perform a variety of general administrative and first-line supervisory duties to organize and coordinate the day-to-day safety, maintenance, and operations of the pool facilities. The Pool Maintenance Supervisor will be tasked with opening, closing, and securing the assigned facility as directed. They will supervise and develop all pool personnel to ensure that staff is well trained, thereby creating a safe environment for all users. The supervisor must ensure that the pool facility is always safe and will conduct in-service training drills bi-monthly to maintain safety standards. High quality of cleanliness and maintenance for all pools, spas, and equipment is paramount. This includes cleaning and sanitizing swimming pools, conducting water quality tests, inspecting equipment, and reporting deficiencies. The supervisor will also be responsible for procuring chemicals, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring safety by communicating and enforcing pool procedures, and maintaining accurate records of pool chemical readings and supplies. The role requires the supervisor to follow and record proper cleaning procedures to maintain a clean environment, wear protective safety equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards. The supervisor will also provide suggestions to improve or repair pool equipment and must obey all safety policies and roadway rules while operating company vehicles or equipment. This position is essential in ensuring that the pool facilities are safe, clean, and enjoyable for all guests at the resort.
