About the position

The Taskforce General Manager at DelMonte Hotel Group is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple hotel properties, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. This role requires a flexible individual who can travel extensively and manage various operational aspects, including staff training, budgeting, and revenue management. The position emphasizes mentorship and support for hotel operations staff while maintaining compliance with legal requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the overall operation of the hotel including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, budgeting, and sales.
  • Act as a mentor to other Hotel Operations Support Managers, providing guidance and support.
  • Manage complex assignments/projects as assigned.
  • Direct, train, and mentor associates to ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Travel to all properties as assigned, including weekends and evenings.
  • Foster the DelMonte Hotel Group culture at all properties.
  • Ensure high standards of service and quality are maintained at all properties.
  • Facilitate DelMonte Hotel Group training in the field as appropriate.
  • Monitor purchasing and receiving procedures for products and supplies.
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all operational departments while on assignment.
  • Develop and maintain positive business relationships with guests and vendors.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years' experience in guest services, front desk, food & beverage, management or related professional area.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel 90% of the time.
  • Extensive knowledge of hotel and food & beverage operations.
  • Solid organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
