About the position

The Night Auditor at The Residence Inn Nashville Opryland is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This role involves managing front desk responsibilities, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional customer service to guests. Responsibilities

  • Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs during the night shift.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare necessary reports for management.
  • Operate phone systems effectively, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest services and operations.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to guests.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality management by maintaining a welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
  • Familiarity with phone systems and effective phone etiquette is essential.
  • Knowledge of hospitality management principles is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
