About the position
The Hourly Assistant Manager at Freebirds will support the General Manager in the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to company practices and procedures. This role focuses on cost control, delivering exceptional food and guest experiences, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and fostering team development. Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in operating the restaurant according to company standards.
- Ensure cost control while delivering high-quality food and guest experiences.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization.
- Support team development and uphold Tribe standards.
- Build sales and maximize profits.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Casual Restaurant industry.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Food safety manager certification upon hire is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant environment.
Nice-to-haves
