About the position

The Hourly Operations Manager at Raising Cane's is responsible for supporting the Assistant Restaurant Leader and Restaurant Leader in the daily operations of the restaurant. This role focuses on upholding the company's standards and culture while ensuring efficient service and operational excellence. The position requires strong leadership skills to manage crew performance, maintain restaurant cleanliness, and drive profitability through effective business management and people management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations management by ensuring the restaurant serves the Perfect box, Fast, Friendly, Clean & Have Fun!
• Promote open communication among all levels of crew in the restaurant.
• Assess areas of opportunity and recommend solutions to address restaurant or crew member issues.
• Manage the operation of the restaurant, including planning and forecasting weekly sales, labor, and COGs.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and identify maintenance problems to communicate to the General Manager.
• Lead monthly inventory counts and ensure proper vendor orders are made and received.
• Support the General Manager in managing food and labor costs to increase restaurant profitability.
• Lead the restaurant to achieve financial goals set by the Operations Leadership Team.
• Train and develop Shift Managers and Crewmembers to improve restaurant operations.
• Lead and execute all new Crewmember and Shift Manager orientations.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required, some College preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to fifty pounds; kneel, bend or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; reach and grasp objects.
• 3 years restaurant or retail management preferred.
