About the position

The Operations Manager at Raising Cane's is responsible for supporting the Assistant Restaurant Leader and Restaurant Leader in the daily operations of the restaurant. This role focuses on upholding the company's standards and culture while ensuring efficient restaurant management. The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in leading the crew, managing business operations, and enhancing restaurant profitability through effective communication and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations to ensure the restaurant serves the Perfect box, Fast, Friendly, Clean & Have Fun!
• Promote open communication among all crew members, including Shift Managers and Trainers.
• Assess areas of opportunity and recommend solutions to improve restaurant performance.
• Manage weekly sales planning, labor, and cost of goods sold (COGs).
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and identify maintenance issues for resolution.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts and manage vendor orders.
• Support the General Manager in managing food and labor costs to enhance profitability.
• Develop and implement plans to address operational issues and present findings to the General Manager.
• Train and develop Shift Managers and Crewmembers to improve restaurant operations.
• Lead the execution of company-driven programs and local marketing plans.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to fifty pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Labor Laws and staffing management.
• 3 years of restaurant or retail management experience preferred.
