About the position

As a GoGetter at GetGo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and store. Your position is vital as you will often be the first and last smiling face our customers encounter. From the bustling morning rush to the busy afternoon lunch crowds and late-night snackers, you will work collaboratively with other Team Members to provide exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers warmly, assisting them with their orders, and ensuring that they receive the fresh food and products they expect. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to return. In this role, maintaining safety is paramount. You will be responsible for adhering to safety protocols to protect yourself, your fellow Team Members, and the products you handle. You will ring up customers' orders accurately, finalize sales, and collect payments while following established company policies and procedures. Additionally, you will monitor customers at the pumps to prevent drive-offs and ensure the safe use of gasoline containers. Your attention to detail will be essential as you assist with stocking duties, maintain cleanliness in various areas of the store, and ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding sales. Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of your work, for your Team Members, customers and products.
• Ring up customers' orders by scanning products or keying price into register according to established company policies and procedures.
• Finalize sales and collect payments by totaling order and accepting tender from customer.
• Alertly watch customers at pumps to help prevent drive-offs, unsafe misuse of gasoline containers or placement and pumping multiple cars within the same transaction.
• Block and straighten shelves as needed.
• Assist with light stocking duties and inform management of any out-of-stock items.
• Replace misplaced items to the proper location.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, counter area, floor, restrooms, exterior pump area, etc., to ensure safety and sanitation regulations are met.
• Know and follow all state and local laws regarding cigarette sales.
• Know and follow all coupon handling procedures.
• Assist other store Team Members in maintaining security in the store.
• Assist in kitchen area as needed.

Requirements

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

• $500 New Hire bonus: $250 at 90 days and $250 at 180 days
