About The Position

The Environmental Services Aide at ScionHealth plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients in specialty hospitals. This position involves selecting appropriate cleaning materials, managing cleaning tasks, and ensuring that all areas are properly sanitized to support the recovery of critically ill patients.

Requirements

• High School graduate.
• Two (2) years of hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select cleaning materials and load service cart for cleaning tasks.
• Clean assigned areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Clean equipment and notify the manager of any necessary repairs.
• Collect hazardous waste and transport it in special closed containers for sterilization.
• Collect and distribute linen, both clean and soiled.
