About the position

The House Supervisor at HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during their shift, ensuring continuity of patient care, and addressing any issues that arise. Responsibilities

• Provide shift coordination across departments within the nursing division.
• Promote continuity of patient care by ensuring compliance with medical and nursing orders.
• Coordinate patient placement and monitor nursing activities.
• Address issues outside of nursing to resolve patient, staff, and visitor concerns.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
• 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required as per local affiliate guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
