Responsibilities

  • Running and managing the household, including errands, organization, and administration.
  • Managing household maintenance and vendor coordination, including handyman and contractor visits.
  • Grocery shopping, personal shopping, and restocking household inventory.
  • Pet sitting, including daily care, walks, and occasional vet visits.
  • House sitting responsibilities while the family is out of town.
  • Household organization projects to create and maintain a more organized home, focusing on areas of daily routine.
  • Light cleaning and tidying, while a maid service comes twice per week, and maintaining household supplies.
  • Event planning and party preparation.
  • Calendar management and scheduling appointments for family members.
  • Assisting with car maintenance, including scheduling routine cleaning, repairs, and renewals.
  • Creation and upkeep of household manuals.
  • Running errands and assisting with personal tasks such as dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up and shopping.

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of experience as a household manager / personal executive assistant.
  • Must have a genuine love for pets and enjoy working with them.
  • Proactive with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules.
  • Proactive and capable of taking initiative.
  • Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties associated with the role.
  • Must be 21+ with a minimum of 3 years of professional paid experience in private households.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Willing to complete a criminal background check.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Relevant job history with outstanding references.
