About the position
The Housekeeper position at Highpoint Stonecrest involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in both public and private areas of the facility. The role requires adherence to established health and safety protocols while ensuring a pleasant environment for residents and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various cleaning tasks and will work under the supervision of a designated supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service public/common areas and private resident areas according to established health, hygiene, and appearance policies.
- Follow housekeeping protocols in dusting, polishing, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
- Properly dispose of refuse while adhering to infection control standards.
- Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste and prevent accidents.
- Keep utility rooms clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- At least one (1) year of related work experience preferred.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, turn, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and balance.
- Physically able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
