About the position

The Housekeeping Attendant (Housekeeper) position is focused on delivering exceptional service to guests and maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel. The role involves cleaning guest rooms according to company standards and ensuring that all housekeeping areas are well-maintained. The Housekeeper is expected to assist with guest requests and report any maintenance issues, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
• Cleans assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as necessary or directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues directly to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
• Reports any guest property left in the room to the front desk and manager on duty.
• Assists and provides reasonable accommodations in response to guest requests whenever possible.
• Cleans other areas of the hotel as assigned by the manager, including associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
• Maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as requested by the management team.

Requirements

• Ability to understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and engage in effective communication with the manager and staff.
• Ability to follow guidelines, adhere to timed objectives, and meet productivity measurements and company standards.
• Ability to apply good judgment at all times.
