About the position

Concord Hospitality is seeking dedicated Housekeepers to join our team at the Holiday Inn Riverview in Charleston, SC. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that guest rooms are cleaned and serviced to the highest standards, contributing to the overall guest experience. You will be responsible for cleaning and organizing assigned guest rooms in a timely manner, adhering to hotel procedures and standards. This includes maintaining an organized linen cart that is well-stocked and neat, ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available for your tasks. In addition to cleaning duties, you will be expected to report any maintenance issues within guest rooms, such as problems with fixtures, door locks, televisions, and HVAC systems. Security is paramount, and you will be responsible for maintaining the security of your equipment, keys, and supplies. You will also play a key role in guest relations by responding to requests in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring that guests feel valued and attended to during their stay. Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner, following procedures and hotel standards.
  • Keeping an organized linen cart that is neat, well stocked and organized.
  • Reporting any areas within guest rooms that need attention, such as fixtures, door locks, televisions, HVAC, etc.
  • Maintaining security of your equipment, key and supplies issued to you.
  • Reporting lost and found articles to your supervisor.
  • Responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
  • Ability to follow instructions and hotel standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, especially in Spanish.
