About the position

Join the newly opened Homewood Suites/Hampton Inn Boston Woburn, the first Hilton Dual Hotels in New England, as a Housekeeper. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of their rooms. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner, adhering to hotel standards and procedures. You will also be responsible for keeping an organized linen cart that is neat, well-stocked, and ready for use. In this role, you will report any areas within guest rooms that require attention, such as fixtures, door locks, televisions, and HVAC systems. Maintaining the security of your equipment, keys, and supplies is essential, as is reporting any lost and found articles to your supervisor. Responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner is also a key part of your job. Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner, following procedures and hotel standards.
  • Keeping an organized linen cart that is neat, well stocked and organized.
  • Reporting any areas within guest rooms that need attention, such as fixtures, door locks, televisions, HVAC, etc.
  • Maintaining security of your equipment, key and supplies issued to you.
  • Reporting lost and found articles to your supervisor.
  • Responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Ability to clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain linen cart and supplies.
  • Attention to detail to report maintenance issues in guest rooms.
  • Ability to maintain security of equipment and supplies.
  • Good communication skills to respond to guest requests.
