About the position
Samaritan's Purse is seeking an organized and meticulous individual to serve as a Housekeeper for our Samaritan Inn in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. As a Housekeeper, you will have the opportunity to assist the Housekeeping department, while simultaneously ensuring that guest rooms and common areas are well-maintained. Responsibilities
- Clean and refresh guest rooms thoroughly based on room status.
- Greet guests as you see them in a warm friendly manner, assist as needed.
- Maintain cleaning schedule priorities by following the room assignment list.
- Conduct room inspections to ensure standards are met.
- Communicate guest room status to the Lead Housekeeper.
- Clean common areas and public restrooms along with deep cleaning duties as assigned.
- Report all issues such as room damage, missing items, or maintenance requests to Management.
- Return all items left by guests in rooms to Management Staff.
- Perform daily laundry duties as assigned.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies in all areas.
- All other duties as assigned.
