About the position

The Housekeeper Supervisor at MasterCorp, Inc. is responsible for overseeing cleaning personnel to ensure high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in hospitality services. This role involves training staff, assigning duties, and ensuring compliance with company values and mission. The supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and organized work environment while fostering positive customer relations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a high standard of excellence within staff.
  • Assign duties to housekeeping personnel.
  • Prep rooms for housekeepers during busy/peak periods as needed.
  • Clean rooms using MasterCorp's 7-step cleaning process during busy/peak periods if required.
  • Assist in the training of both existing and new staff.
  • Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedures.
  • Examine carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear and report as necessary.
  • Inspect and prepare clean units, reporting them as vacant and ready.
  • Complete the required number of report cards per week for inspections.
  • Replace kitchen inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
  • Report lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
  • Perform all duties related to site operation as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Ensure a sense of urgency exists within housekeeping staff for timely unit turnovers.
  • Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform inventory and linen supplies as directed.
  • Assist in solving guest complaints promptly.
  • Cultivate and develop strong, positive customer relations.
  • Assist resort guests and owners as needed.
