About the position

The Weekend Housekeeper at TANDEM LIVING is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere within the facility. This part-time position is specifically for weekends, requiring work on Saturdays and Sundays, and involves various housekeeping duties to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of residents. The role emphasizes adherence to the company's core values and mission while providing essential cleaning services.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans resident's rooms/apartments/villas as assigned and/or prior to a new admission/move-in.
• Thoroughly cleans and refills supplies in all public areas and public restrooms.
• Cleans insides/outsides of windows/doors.
• Uses step stool/ladder to change out all types of curtains and to clean light fixtures as needed.
• Uses small carpet spotter on carpet spots/upholstery as needed.
• Follows regular cleaning rotation checklists and schedules. Completes required paperwork.
• Works with minimal supervision. Demonstrates good time management skills to ensure all assignments get completed before end of shift.
• Responds to all emails and calls over radio.
• Operates TANDEM LIVING company vehicle as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• A valid PA driver's license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience is required.
• Previous Housekeeping experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting preferred but not required.
