About the position

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. This role involves daily servicing of guest rooms according to hotel procedures, stocking carts with supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room amenities while adhering to company standards and safety procedures. Additionally, the Housekeeper may conduct deep cleaning activities and assist with preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas.
• Service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Stock housekeeping cart with room supplies and replace bed linens.
• Replenish guest room supplies following company standards.
• Conduct deep cleaning activities within guest rooms as needed.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties including setting up guest supplies and cleaning supplies.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming according to brand standards.
• Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations for safe hotel operations.
• Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
