About the position
The Malibu Beach Inn is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join their team. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas in a luxury boutique hotel setting. The Housekeeper will ensure that all cleaning tasks meet established quality standards and contribute to a pleasant experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms in accordance with established quality and performance standards.
- Clean occupied guest rooms and reset guest bedroom, bathroom, and hallway areas according to established standards.
- Organize and stock cleaning cart and linen closets on the assigned floor.
- Complete assigned paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
- Handle unexpected spills and execute special guest requests as needed.
- Assist other housekeeping employees in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas.
- Follow Leading Quality of Assurance (LQA) standards.
Requirements
- 3 years of cleaning experience required.
- 3 years of hotel housekeeping experience required.
- Ability to bend, lift, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
Nice-to-haves
- Hotel experience is a plus.
