The Housekeeper position at Ebenezer involves maintaining a clean, safe, and cheerful environment for residents, staff, and visitors at a senior assisted and skilled nursing care facility. This part-time role requires working 80 hours over two weeks with a rotating weekend schedule and day shift hours. The position is essential for ensuring the comfort and safety of the community, contributing to the overall mission of supporting seniors in their daily lives.

Responsibilities

• Cleans resident and common areas of the community as assigned, including floor care.
• Assists with light maintenance tasks and cleaning emergency spills as needed.
• Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Assists residents with laundry as requested.
• Ensures timely and efficient turnover of apartments.
• Performs job duties safely, using accurate body mechanics and protective equipment.
• Promotes a safe environment for staff, residents, and visitors.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and show attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality.
• Able to work in varying environmental conditions, including cleaning human/bodily fluids or waste.
• Able to understand and follow verbal and written communication, including policies/procedures and safety sheets.
