About the position

As a Housekeeper at StoryPoint, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in residents' apartments and public areas, following established procedures and schedules. Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas as assigned according to departmental standards, processes, and procedures.
• Maintains clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed, observing proper cleaning techniques.
• Makes independent decisions and follows instructions effectively.
• Deals tactfully with associates, residents, family members, visitors, and government personnel.
• Follows written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds and disinfecting solutions.
• Relates information concerning a resident's condition as needed.
• Uses supplies economically and reports supply needs to the supervisor.
• Operates machines such as buffers, extraction equipment, vacuums, and commercial laundry equipment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Lead.

Requirements

• High school diploma and/or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
