You will be a part of a team that will make our patients feel comfortable during their stay with us and provide them with a clean and pleasant environment. Cleaning isn't all you'll do; sometimes a simple smile and a 'good morning' can make a difference in a patient's visit.
Responsibilities
- Cleans patient rooms & assigned areas, including handling waste and biohazards
- Ensures a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors at all times
- Operates and cleans various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical vacuums, wringers, and carts
- Strictly follows the hospital policies for infectious control completion
- Independently communicates in English, both verbal and written skills are required
- Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around hospital departments; performs a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. preferred
- Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare environment preferred
Benefits
- $3.50 hourly for evenings
- $4.75 hourly for nights
- $2.75 hourly for weekends
