About the position
The Housekeeping Aide at Meadowbrook Care Center is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility, ensuring that it exceeds the expectations of patients and their families. This role is crucial for the overall presentation of the center and involves routine cleaning tasks in various areas of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Complete routine cleaning duties in patient/resident rooms, recreational/common areas, and other facility spaces.
- Clean, wash, and sanitize bathrooms.
- Remove trash and reline trash receptacles.
- Ensure cleanliness of floors, windows, mirrors, and light fixtures.
Requirements
- Must possess at minimum a High School Education or equivalent G.E.D.
- Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required as on-the-job training will be provided.
- Experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
- Must speak and understand English and have reliable transportation.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting.
