About The Position

The Housekeeping Attendant at Einstein Montgomery Medical Center is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in various areas of the facility. This role involves performing cleaning tasks according to established schedules and methods to ensure a safe and orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The position also includes responsibilities related to infection control and the proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D).
• Familiarity with the correct use of chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment assigned.
• General knowledge of infection control practices in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nurses' stations, lounges, laboratories, bathrooms, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Perform major floor cleaning and refinishing.
• Replenish bathroom supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues such as broken windows and handrails to the Group Leader or Supervisor.
• Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in alignment with the hospital's core values.
