About the position

The Housekeeping-Floor Scrubber Operator is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the office and warehouse areas, including break rooms and restrooms. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, ensuring a safe and orderly work environment while adhering to safety norms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the break room floors, microwaves, counters, sinks, tables, and refrigerators
• Keep bathrooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies
• Keep trash cans emptied
• Operate the floor scrubber
• Organize and maintain custodial closet supplies
• Develop an attitude and participate in an environment of continuous improvement
• Ensure the compliance of safety norms to include maintaining a clean, orderly and safe work area
• Maintain outside common areas as required
• Complete weekly and monthly checklists and report out to Facilities Manager
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical activities including walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred
• Familiarity with operating power equipment, specifically floor scrubbers
