Housekeeping/Laundry Aide

About the position

Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to perform essential housekeeping duties in residents' rooms. This full-time position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards while ensuring the proper handling of linens and cleaning supplies. The role is crucial for providing a comfortable living environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties in residents' rooms such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting surfaces.
• Collect community resident linens and transport clean and soiled linen to the housekeeping room.
• Store and lock all cleaning chemicals in the housekeeping cart.
• Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
• Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience in laundry preferred.
