About the position

The Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the facility. This role involves cleaning various areas, performing laundry duties, and ensuring that all spaces are organized and presentable. The ideal candidate will be meticulous and efficient in their tasks, contributing to a pleasant environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize designated areas including rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces.
• Perform laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
• Handle dry cleaning tasks as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Experience in cleaning and maintaining various surfaces.
• Proficiency in laundry procedures including washing, drying, and ironing.
• Knowledge of hotel cleaning standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
