About the position
The Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant at Trilogy is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residents' rooms and common areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This role is essential in providing meaningful work in long-term care, contributing to the well-being of residents and their families while being part of a supportive team that values hospitality and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Make sure all residents' rooms and recreation areas are clean and orderly
- Honor residents' right to privacy when requested
- Report unsafe situations immediately (frayed electrical cord, broken chair, torn rug, etc.)
- Use safety equipment when necessary (e.g. gloves / goggles when cleaning up chemical or body fluid spills)
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- A desire to help people and work with a team to make it happen
