About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities while ensuring that all laundry services meet our high standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and laundry operations, particularly in a hotel or hospitality environment. This position is on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a spotless environment.
• Launder linens, towels, and other fabrics using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
• Handle dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are cleaned according to specifications.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry products, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service.
